A shoutout for the best champion tank of all time, originally at target, but now sold on amazon. I’ve lived in these all week since it’s been 90 degrees. I will cry if they ever discontinue them! I also got this little wrap coat that I’m obsessed with. It gives off major varley vibes! Speaking off, the new varley fall stuff is SO good. That pink shade!!

SHOPPING

There are lots of labor day sales on amazon! Everything in there is something we have and love. To be honest I really truly adore shopping for my kids outfits!! I love finding them things that match or coordinate and Emilia’s sense of style is SO fun. My go-tos are always target, j crew factory (which I like SO much more than j crew f0r the kids), lola and the boys for Emilia, The only ones that caught my eye are the osea sale, the hill house sale, shopbop and the aviator nation labor day sale.

LOVING

Everything halloween here in my amazon shop. Oh my gosh – there are so many cute things. Sept 1 – it’s on! And I know I’ve mentioned it a few times, but the my mind’s eye stuff is also super cute. I’m done with the glitter bats on my fireplace – black glitter butterflies are where its at!

CELEBRATING

The end of summer fridays! The sun is setting on our little weekly catch ups for 2024. I can’t believe it’s here already. I love doing this every summer and it gives me something to look forward to! But fall is the BEST time for recipes and I have so many delicious things coming at you. A bunch of new exciting things are on the horizon too with my next book!

I’ve been living in my love v-neck t-shirt from lululemon. I’ve had a few of these for probably five years by now and they hold up so well. I also adore the love tank top too. There is a great copy of this on amazon and the colors are even better. The hot pink!!

The stoney clover park & beach collection absolutely got me. I wish I could get every piece for Emilia! I’m also loving the j crew factory stuff for the kids for fall. They always have crazy sales where I can stock up and match the kids.

LOVING

It’s no secret that I have been obsessed with on cloud shoes for years. They have been my work shoes for YEARS now and I love so many of the styles for different reasons. I just saw that free people released a collab with them, and I am dying over the colors! That’s been my only complaint for on – as someone who adores color, the choices aren’t wild and bright since it’s more of a minimalist shoe. But I love both of these shoes! And they are two of my favorite styles for comfort too.

My favorite rails dress in this amazing print. I’ve had this dress in many colors/fabrics over the last decade and it’s amazing! They also make the best denim shirt. And the long scuba from lululemon in the best green. Also, look at how amazing the madewell studs and suede stuff is!

SHOPPING

The anthro fall stuff is so, so good. The cutest halloween glasses, the bud vases the mini pumpkin candles. And the halloween stuff from my mind’s eye!! I placed an embarrassingly large order, but a few standouts were these adorable houses, the table runner, the placemats, pink witch hat garland and the spooky era bracelets. I love going all out for these holidays for the kids!

LOVING

I’m also dying over all of the MacKenzie Childs pumpkins this year! The pink! purple! blue! champagne! How can I choose?! There are so many incredible colors. I have ton of their halloween decor and it could not be more perfect for the season. Here are some of my favorite halloween pieces. I’m totally breaking out the fall stuff come September 1!

PREPPING

With less than a week to go, we’re still in major back to school mode here. I put together some teacher care packages (there are my favorite thing!) – I put them in a clear pouch and made a list here of what I put them in. Mini skincare and fun things like that. I also worked on a revamp of our teacher’s lounge at school this week! To say I adore our teachers would be an understatement. And finally, we have a few different lunchboxes this year. The kids are PUMPED. This is all my lunch packing gear.

WEARING

A reminder that this like a cloud bra is the most comfortable out there! I live in it. I also love the lulu visors and wear one almost every day. The removable sweat band makes this SO comfortable. It’s like a cushion. Also living in the scuba cropped full zip (the navy and gold is everything), I love these v-waist align leggings and the define jacket (I think I have 4 colors now!). While we’re on the topic of athleisure, my inner Kelly Kapowski still lives for these off the shoulder sweatshirts.

We have been so obsessed with the olympics that I ended up getting some of ralph team usa stuff for the kids. Max was SO excited. This t shirt and sweatshirt! Super cute. I wanted this one but it’s been sold out for weeks. Also, my current favorite bag/sling is the think royln little runway. I have had one of these for a few years and love it so much that I got different colors. It is so sleek, the perfect size (can fit wipes, a water bottle) and super comfortable.

SHOPPING

Love this spanx tennis dress! The lilac shade is perfect. But I’m fully on the fall train when it comes to buying anything. One of my favorite sites is my mind’s eye for decor and fun things for the kids – think seasonal/holiday plates, table runners, etc. The halloween section is too cute! Also loving all things rhone right now. I got Eddie a bunch of stuff for father’s day and it’s excellent quality.

This snack box takes gold for our vacation this week. It was great for us all through baseball season, but I packed it up everyday this week and the kids went wild. I almost need a second one! I’d like to have one for all salty snacks and one for fruit and cheese. It is the best!

TRAVELING

We’re headed home from vacation this week which is sad, but I also look at it as a time to reset! I love the rest of the year so much. Loving this on how to make the sunday scaries of vacation less stressful.

PREPARING

Like I mentioned, I LOVE this time of year. I am so, so sad for the kids to go back to school. It’s not for a few more weeks, but we are gearing up and getting ready with my back to school list. However, this has been the BEST summer ever. Seriously, I have just leaned in to giving the kids the best possible summer they can have and we have had a blast. I wanted to make sure they had a wonderful summer with lots of fun activities and days we would remember. It’s been amazing!

My W&P porter lunch bowls. I’ve used these for years (and love the entire line!) but these are especially good for packing some fruit of pasta salads for the pool and beach. Also, FINALLY got the breville touch espresso machine on prime day and oh my gosh, I adore it. Why did I wait so long?! The flat white – incredible.

My go-to travel bags for vacation are a big longchamp bag (you can fit ALL THE THINGS) and also this cuyana travel tote. I love that it has a zipper. I got my first cuyana bag back in 2014 or 2015 and the quality is impeccable. Packed both of these up for the next week and can fit so much in them!

Going to start A Novel Summer tonight! Can’t wait. Here is my summer reading list for ya.

WEARING

For years I’ve raved about the spanx air essentials pieces. I think my most favorite one is this cropped jumpsuit. I LOVE THIS. It’s so comfortable and casual, but looks sleek. I have the long sleeve version of this and love it, but this short sleeve is even better. I have been living in it. Have it in black but want the tahini color! Also, my birkenstock arizona EVA in eggshell. I never thought I’d wear these but I adore them. They are so supportive and comfortable.

LOVING

The ink and volt note pads are still some of my favorite organizational tools. The meal planning pad and daily list are ones I grab frequently. I also use this slim monthly planner for a months-ahead view of all the family activities to stay organized. This acrylic calendar is on our wall when we first walk in, but the monthly planner is so thin and I can easily keep it with me when I need it! I can’t believe how crazy our days get once school starts.

Yesterday the MacKenzie Childs barn sale started! Right now, I’m in love with everything sterling check. If you haven’t seen this in person, it’s gray (and I’m not a gray person!) with a slight hint of blue. It is so so so pretty. I have tons of pieces of MC from working with them over the years and I entertain with them constantly. I also purchase it often for friends/family gifts from a local boutique. So I love this sale! The serving platter and oval platter are both fabulous. The three tier stand is one of my favorite pieces that I have. This enamel vase is amazing – so short and stout and the perfect gift. And the triplicity piece! I also love the herb pots, the large cake platter, the abundant bowl and square baking pan.

SHOPPING

Yesterday my mom and I went to shop the anniversary sale in person. I got a set of the moonlight shorts pajamas because they are the best! I am loving the spanx skort too. And order the on cloud coast sneakers in the green, more osea body balm and the wood bowl in the lighter color. Oh and the only sheets that Eddie will sleep on.

PREPPING

I’m getting things ready to go on our annual northern michigan vacation and this list is my life savior! Essentials include this carseat travel tray for Jordan, the backseat organizers for Max and Emilia, Uno splash which is new for us this year, as is the shibumi shade! Have you used one before?

Started The Summer Pact this week! Here’s my big summer reading list.

WEARING

I’m obsessed with this pink ribbed dress. And throwing on this easy black dress after showering when it’s hot out. So easy for errands. Also! The kids. I put them in super bright contrasting colors (not blue) in the pool so I don’t lose track of them (think orange, pink, red). This hot pink rash guard has been amazing for all 3 of them! It’s such a vibrant bright pink. I love it. There are a ton of other great colors too. And my kids are never without sunglasses. Max is super into the baseball-ish sunglasses, which means Emilia loves them too. I got them hot pink and hot pink orange ones here. A huge hit! Plus, they come with cases and cleaning clothes too.

LOVING

I love the clear pouches for my bags, especially in summer. I always have so many things for the kids and try to keep them organized – using the clear pouches make it SO easy. Sure, the stoney clover are great, but um, these amazon ones are just as good. A fraction of the price, so many colors and shapes! I love them so much. The zippers are buttery smooth too. I also LOVE these double layer cosmetic bags. Perfect for packing, travel, on-the-go and even snacks.

BUYING

I wasn’t even paying attention to the whole target circle week thing because hello, too many sales, brain overwhelm. But I happened to look last night and couldn’t believe everything! The tineco vacuum I live for is on major sale. The breville smart oven pro AND the espresso machine (!!), the ninja creami, the cordless kitchenaid mixer (a lifesaver!), actually all the sunscreen we use for us and the kids, skincare – it is crazy. I use these beats pro ear buds every day, this mini canon printer is one of our favorite things that I’ve talked about for years and a set of greenpans. I ended up making lists on LTK selfishly for myself to keep track of everything!

This maxi dress on repeat. Oh my gosh, it is SO comfortable. I also can’t get over this shorts set that looks identical to the varley one. I adore it.

I just bought another Tineco mop as a gift for someone. I cannot even express how amazing this has been working in my house, on all the floors. It’s life changing! Also just got these cooling towels. Also just grabbed these deodorant wipes to store in our summer bag! They are individually wrapped which I love.

My summer essentials here and the kids summer favorites here. A few highlights include this jumpsuit, the thirsty stone coasters I have for our deck (love!), these frozen double walled glasses and my fave sunglasses going on like six years now.

LOVING

If you have kids and don’t have a turkish towel with you at all times, you must! It’s so thin and lightweight, can roll up tightly and more importantly, dries ridiculously fast. I’ve had this one for a million years but I also recently grabbed this six pack on amazon and have been using them nonstop. Also, I must praise the longchamp le pliage tote for the hundredth time. I’ve talked about this for years but nothing beats this tote, especially with kids. I love that it zips. I took it to an amusement park all day and it fits so much. I have the giant one that I’ve used for traveling since 2013. Last week I mentioned the tiny one. They are on the pricey side, but truly last forever.

LOVING

I am absolutely in love with this mini longchamp pouch with handle. This is my current favorite mini bag and I guess I’m late to the game. First, it is such high quality. Second, it holds so much (I have a bigger iphone – the pro max). Third, my favorite way to use it is inside my other bags – then I can grab it for errands, etc. It’s perfect! Also makes such a good gift. And it comes in so many colors!
