Tuesday Things.
1. It was 87 degrees here yesterday! Why must we go from 50 to 87? Whomp whomp. I’m happy at a nice little 65.
2. Oh my goodness: strawberry crunch sheet cake! This looks phenomenal.
3. I tried the starbucks lavender latte the other day and was so pleasantly surprised! I still think mine is better, but it was pretty darn good.
4. Divine intervention: I dropped my key fob in a giant gravel parking lot at a greenhouse and had no idea! It wasn’t until I was checking out and someone brought up a key fob that I checked for mine and realized it was gone. Crazy moments.
5. TV things! I watched Baby Reindeer and just thought it was nuts and disturbing, but not scary. Still loving Palm Royale – everyone is so great in it! Josh Lucas kills me.
6. Also, who else lived for watching MTV spring break as a kid? My brother and I couldn’t wait… we would get so excited. It was basically people dancing at a beach club with music. Ha. And I bet I was 11 years old, wanting to watch it.
7. Less clutter = more happiness.
8. I keep referencing my summer essentials list now that it’s warmer out. I may make an updated one this year!
9. Trying my hand at growing cilantro again. Tips please.

I want to grow cilantro too!! So far without any success, so I’ll be happy to see any tips :)
Cilantro needs to go in the ground where it has the best drainage! Tbh it doesn’t last long so plant it early. The second it gets too hot, it’ll bolt and die. You can try to keep up with it by cutting it back/stopping it from flowering but it really seems to hate our climate!!
I tried with Baby Reindeer but ended up quitting, just too bizarre for me! Starbuck’s lavender latte was better than I expected, but I think using a syrup makes for a better drink than the powder they use for sure.
Baby Reindeer is wild . I cannot get around the very dysfunction of the entire thing. and i agree, Josh Lucas in Palm Royale is superb (everyone is wonderful.. Ricky Martin is stealing the show!)
We live in New Mexico and cilantro loves it here. I plant it in a big south-facing pot – it does go to seed very quickly, but it reseeds itself and new plants come back the following year. I never could get it to grow in either Colorado (too cold) or Georgia (too humid) when we lived in those states, so I think cilantro must prefer warm, dry, sunny weather. It really hates to be over-watered and will rot if too wet.
I LOVED MTV Spring Break!!
Maybe too hot—cilantro is a cool weather plant.
I actually put an alarm in my phone to plant cilantro in late August in hopes that the weather will support my love of cilantro. Sadly, I did not plant it early enough this spring. I love cilantro!
I cannot with Baby Reindeer. It made me cringe so much. Have not tried the Starbucks Lavender but there is a place near me that has lavender soft serve that looks amazing!!!
