Summer Fridays, Vol 12.
Happy summer friday! What’s up this weekend for you?
EATING
All the corn peach and tomato salads. For as long as I can! And my BLT chopped salad. Also still riding the marinated tomato BLT train. And my one pot garlic butter shrimp orzo!
DRINKING
My favorite sparkling rosé pimms cups! Um also is it too early for pumpkin cream cold brew? Asking for a friend.
MAKING
Lemon parmesan cauliflower gnocchi. Takes literally 15 minutes!
BAKING
My caramelized peach and lavender scones. An oldie but goodie!
CRAVING
My caramelized onion dip. Make it this weekend for happy hour drinks!
READING
Starting We Are The Brennans later today!! What are you reading right now?
LISTENING
Lately I haven’t been able to get enough of my summer kitchen playlist.
WEARING
Can we talk about how much I’ve been “wearing” my waffle towel wrap. Ha! It’s the best. In all seriousness though, I’ve just been LIVING in nap dresses this summer. There has been nothing better for the 90 degree heat + breastfeeding. They have basically become my uniform. The quality is so good, they wash super well, I could not ask for more.
SHOPPING
How early is too early to be buying all the matching fall/holiday pajamas? Because I’m knee deep in them on the burt’s bees website.
PREPPING
I made my kids morning and evening routine checklists and threw them in a dry erase folder, so yes, I am now that person.
BUYING
Why do I want this weekend market tote so bad? I LOVE IT. It’s not like I can walk to the market! But it looks like something that the main character in a Nancy Meyers movie would carry.
LOVING
While we’re talking about bags, this tote that I got at the nordstrom sale is fantastic. It’s huge and all canvas – nothing gorgeous but I have loved it to keep some of my work stuff and planner together and organized. It’s an amazing structured tote! Also, this scout errand bag is INCREDIBLE. Folds up completely flat and is perfect for travel, groceries, etc.
GIVING
Today is the last day to enter our amazing greenpan giveaway over on instagram!
SHARING
How to help women in countries of conflict and war.

Oh Jeez…thanks for assisting me in ordering three items a the Burt’s Bee Baby site. Such cute things.
I’ve been reading ‘Beneath the Glitter” and it’s so good! Bought it without reading the description for $2 at the Strand and no regrets!
Just want to say, I think it’s awesome that you include inspiration for sharing! There are so many places and people in need in our world; thanks for reminding us all that amidst the fun, delicious food and pretty sales of stuff we can also put our money towards an even greater good.
Also, I’m reading “The Gilded Hour” by Sara Donati. Just started it but she’s an amazing epics writer. If you like historical fiction, you’ll like her books.
